A big important step in our call process is complete and that is discovering our “Who We Are’ statement. With your help this is what we defined as “who we are”:
We are focused on Word-based inward and outward ministries; inward ministries include strengthening community and creatively developing members’ faith while outward ministries include outreach to the unchurched and serving those in need.”
The council is interested in your comments and feedback regarding this statement.
Exciting Stuff is just around the corner! Thank you for contributing to the Congregation Profile over these past several weeks. We will have the profile ready for your review during Adult Forum time (9:40) on April 15th & 22nd.
In addition, we are now ready for our next step with Associate Joy Mortensen-Wiebe from the synod office, she will step us through the process of defining “Where We Are Going” on Thursday, April 26th at 6:30.
Lastly, we will hold a congregation vote to form our Call Committee members on Sunday, May 6th during Adult Forum time, this meeting be held in the sanctuary.
